The BUZZYBEE series offers easy assembly, essential features, and a space-saving design. The rubber pad ensures secure mounting of carbon frames without affecting the tubes.
If you don't need a tilt function for access to the trunk, BUZZYBEE is the ideal choice. BUZZYBEE2 offers a simple, sturdy, and safe design while providing the best value for money.
BUZZYBEE2 is lightweight and compact, yet it can accommodate two bikes with a total weight of 8.5 kg. It is geometrically compact and fits most bike sizes.
Key Features:
Assembly:
BUZZYBEE2 is delivered unassembled but is easy for the user to assemble. The wheel holder and the bottom part of the holder are assembled using 4 screws. Then the lighting system is attached with 2 screws. The license plate is mounted, plastic wheel holders are attached, the bike holder is placed on the tow bar - all without the need for tools - and you're ready to go.
Customization to the Car:
Once BUZZYBEE2 is mounted on the tow bar, it supports itself, allowing you to release the bike holder without it falling down. After mounting the bike holder, turn the tension knob to tighten it completely, and then lock it. BuzzRack's holder complies with the exact standard XPR-18-904-4, and therefore, an anti-sway clamp is included; typically, this requires 2 or 3 turns of the handle.
Lighting System:
BUZZYBEE2 comes with a 7-pin lighting system. The adapter from 7-pin to 13-pin is not included but can be purchased as an accessory.
Bike Transport:
The wheel holders are adjustable and fit all wheel distances, even children's bikes. The padded wheel straps can be tightened to hold tires up to 3.25" wide. BUZZYBEE2 is suitable for bikes with carbon frames thanks to the gentle straps and rubber pads. The maximum load is 40 kg, with each bike not exceeding 20 kg. Electric bikes up to 20 kg can also be transported, but the BUZZYBEE series is not optimal for these. The maximum tube diameter is 75 mm (3"). The heaviest bike should always be loaded closest to the car.
Features and Specifications:
The patented cone-shaped connector fits all ISO 50mm tow bars. BUZZYBEE2 sits high on the tow bar, protecting it from bumps on the road and other obstacles.
Dimensions: 88 cm wide x 58 cm deep x 70 cm high (when folded, the height is 24 cm).
The bike holder comes with an integrated lighting system and a tow bar lock.
NOTE! The maximum load is also determined by the nose weight of the tow bar; make sure not to exceed this before using the bike holder. There must be 65 mm of space from the center of the tow bar to the rear of the car.
