This kit is delivered with the holder for the volume airflow sensor. Unlike normal performance kits, this kit includes a heat shield (you don´t need a powerblanket), and special made pipes.
The most economical and safest way to get 21HP extra out of the M5 V10 engine over a wide RPM range.
The way this system works is fairly simple. K&N uses two high-flow cone filters located behind specially designed heat shields. The M5 has air ducts producing a constant flow of fresh cool air towards each filter area. Cool air at a higher rate of flow results in more readily available power.
Please study the Dyno Chart. As you can see, the power gain is across the entire RPM range, with over 20HP in the 5500 to 8000 RPM range!
